Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses AgriForge (the "Service") and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. It exists to keep the Service safe, lawful, and reliable for all users. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms.
1. General principle
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes, in accordance with these rules and all applicable laws and regulations, including agricultural, animal-health, environmental, and crop-protection requirements that apply to your operation.
2. Prohibited activities
You must not, and must not allow anyone using your account to:
- Break the law — use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation, or to facilitate illegal activity.
- Infringe rights — upload or share content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights, or for which you lack the necessary rights and consents.
- Misuse personal information — enter personal information about other people without a lawful basis, or use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others.
- Compromise security — attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems; probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization; or circumvent authentication, rate limits, or usage limits.
- Disrupt the Service — introduce malware; conduct denial-of-service attacks; or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
- Scrape or harvest — use bots, scrapers, or automated means to extract data except through features or APIs we provide, and only within their documented limits.
- Abuse AI features — use AI photo intelligence, the chat assistant, or image generation to create unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content, to impersonate others, or to misrepresent AI outputs as verified professional advice.
- Resell or misappropriate — resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted, or copy, reverse-engineer, or create competing products from it.
- Misuse messaging — use sign-in, notification, or support channels to send spam or unsolicited messages, or in violation of Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
- Falsify identity or records — misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or knowingly enter false regulatory records (for example, crop-protection PHI/REI data) in a way that could endanger food safety, animals, or people.
3. Content and data responsibility
You are responsible for all content and data in your account. You must ensure it is accurate where it matters for compliance (such as animal-health and crop-protection records) and that you have the rights and consents necessary for any third-party or personal information you enter.
4. Fair use and limits
Plan limits (such as numbers of animals, fields, assets, users, and AI usage) are described at purchase. Automated or excessive use that degrades the Service for others, or attempts to evade plan limits, is prohibited. We may apply reasonable technical limits to protect the Service.
5. Reporting abuse
To report a violation of this AUP, a security issue, or content concerns, contact [email protected] (please mark security matters as such in the subject). Please include enough detail for us to investigate.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle or suspend features, or suspend or terminate accounts, with or without notice depending on severity, as described in the Terms. We may also report unlawful activity to authorities. We will use reasonable judgment and aim to give notice where practical.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date.
